Connie's Poem

The angels, having descended, now take their

heavenly flight

A beloved  soul in their bosom to carry into the

heavenly light

An empty shell, this earthly tabernacle is left behind

But a new life at her Savior's feet she will now find

We mourn, we cry and we ask of the why

Never the less we know that her free spirit soars the

Eastern sky

The angels rejoice and sing praise to God in

heavenly song

We too can rejoice for it won't be too long

Til we see her again, reunited with Jesus in our

Heavenly home

The spirit is free, the suffering is done

At home in Heaven with God and His dear Son
